Spring

It's been a long time coming, but here's to spring in Japan. "Hanami" is the word of the day for you learning Japanese, it literally means flower viewing, but in practice it means gathering with a bunch of friends and enjoying an outdoor bar-b-q during the peak cherry blossom season that lasts only 1 or 2 weeks in April.

Spring also means abating weather, clear skies, and a yet still snow capped Mt. Fuji. I resumed riding my bike to school and these photos were taken on the 15 minute bike ride.
